Thoughtfully designed Expressive Arts workshops to meet your group’s needs.

Pricing is decided based on:

  • the number of participants in the group

  • the number of facilitators needed based on group size

  • the length of the workshop needed

  • how much art materials are needed

  • online or in-person facilitation

  • your workplace or organization’s budget

Together, we will discuss what is needed, resources available, and what the overall vision is. This is a collaborative process, so let’s get creative!

Once details are settled, I will provide a negotiable quote. Then we go from there!

Mental Illness Awareness Week Expressive Arts Therapy Workshop

In support of Mental Illness Awareness Week, this 1.5 hour Expressive Arts workshop will explore the theme of self-care using both visual art and creative writing. It will be an interactive workshop that encourages sharing and learning from each other's insights and wisdom. Participants will be given the opportunity to engage with art materials and the creative writing process to witness first-hand how this process has the potential to connect with and nurture care for self, as well as build connections and bridges to others as we encounter our shared humanity through the creative process.

This program is presented in partnership with Pathways Clubhouse and the Richmond Public Library.

heARTS and Minds: Using Expressive Arts to Foster Dialogue Around Mental Health

This 2-hour workshop - An Expressive Arts Exploration: Using Visual Arts and Creative Writing As a Way to Nurture and Nourish Your Relationship with Self-Care, will explore the theme of self-care using both visual art and creative writing. It will be an interactive workshop that encourages sharing and learning from each other's insights and wisdom. Participants will be given the opportunity to engage with art materials and the creative writing process to witness first-hand how this process has the potential to connect with and nurture care for self, as well as build connections and bridges to others as we encounter our shared humanity through the creative process. Through the facilitation of expressive arts therapists, simple self-care strategies will be introduced as part of the process. 

Join us in exploring visual arts and creative writing as ways to engage immigrant families in dialogue around mental health.

Finding Warmth in Winter: a workshop for those that find this time of year hard

Let’s explore the winter season! We know that winter can be tough with days that are shorter, colder and wetter. Not to mention the host of holidays and events which can be hard to navigate with external and internal pressures. Together in this workshop, let’s explore through creativity and imagination.

This workshop may feel right for those that are experiencing grief, loss, transition, winter on-set SAD or those that just may be experiencing the blues this time of year.

The expressive arts for this workshop can help create awareness practices that can help you steer your way through holidays, events, or winter itself. They can also rekindle your flame to explore your creativity.

Creative Self Care Sessions: artistic expression as an act of self care

Come as you are, unwind, and ease into a weekend of rest. Each week participants will be invited to explore themes related to self care using Expressive Arts modalities, such as gentle movement, visual art, and creative writing.
